Hired by an ad agency in San Diego to make a pitch deck for a client that was revolutionizing school fundraising with an app.

I was asked to develop a style like the old ‘Let’s all go to the lobby’ 1950’s intermission movie ads that could be turned into campaigns that included several videos. Researching led to bizarre contrasts that a sports team would peddle sugary candy or an environmentally conscious debate team would reward donations with giftwrap. I was beginning to toy with taking the ‘d’ out of fund-raising, then you remove the difficulty & spend more time on fun-raising, but then…

As I developed these comps, The State of California deemed the clients app as illegal gambling, so the agency apologized, retreated & the pitch was scrapped.
